Join us on the last Saturday of each month for outdoor adventures and meaningful connections designed for families of all shapes and sizes! Through hands-on activities and guided exploration, you’ll deepen your bond with each other and the natural world.
Activities Include:
- Nature Crafts: Create rustic art and woodcrafts using natural materials and tools.
- Bushcraft Basics: Build shelters, practice knot-tying, and learn fire-lighting skills.
- Nature Discovery: Explore our local flora, fauna, and learn about woodland ecosystems.
- Play wild: Nature inspired games and scavenger hunts, as well as all important unstructured, free play in the woodland environment!
- Campfire Chats: Gather around for stories, songs, and cooked snacks.

📍 Location: Stanpit Woods (behind the visitor centre)
📅 Dates: Last Saturday of every month starting January 2025
⏰ Time: 10:30 AM – 12.30PM
🎟️ Cost: £12 first child | £8 second child | £4 third child
Who Can Join?
Families with children aged 5–12 are welcome (younger and older siblings can join too). Activities are adaptable to suit all ages and abilities. Under 3's go free!
What to Bring:
- Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing (we run rain or shine!)
- Sturdy shoes or boots.
- A water bottle and a small snack for a mid-morning break.
- A willingness to explore and have fun!
